My interest in dermatology started when my dearest Labrador (Jess), developed atopic dermatitis at just 2-years of age. The frustration of treating and controlling her condition inspired me to learn more about this fascinating field, and this later developed into my passion to help all pets suffering from skin diseases. After 7 years in general practice, I gained my ESVPS GP Certificate in Dermatology in 2011 and since then, I have seen first and second opinion/ referral dermatology cases whilst working in referral an first opinion practices. I recently completed my Postgraduate certificate in small animal dermatology and I am currently in the process of applying for RCVS Advance Practitioner Status. I am a member of the British Veterinary Dermatology Group and European Society of Veterinary Dermatology.
I live in Liverpool with my partner Markus ( also a Vet) our three much loved pets, “Tek” my one-eyed-wonder, rescued from Spain, “Spot” the naughty but adorable French Bulldog ( yes, a Frenchie but a healthy one! J) and “Talullah” a feisty tortoiseshell kitty. In my spare time I enjoy walking with my dogs while discovering new and amazing places in the North of England, travelling and dancing ( my secret passion… well not so secret anymore!).
