Amy Routledge

Amy graduated from Lancaster University with a degree in Biomedical Science in 2012 where she developed an aspiration to become a Veterinary Surgeon. To attain this goal it took her abroad to Slovakia where she studied and qualified in 2016.

After graduating she started working in a first opinion small animal practice in Manchester. Here her passion grew for ultrasonography and she achieved her post graduate certificate in Diagnostic Imaging in 2021 then became an Advanced Practitioner in 2022.

Amy stayed with the same veterinary company for seven years, covering various clinics of theirs in the North Manchester area, accepting internal referrals for both abdominal and cardiac scans from practices in this group. She really enjoys ultrasonography and appreciates it as a valued diagnostic tool, particularly liking the challenging cases it can bring.
