Ultrasound4pets started from nothing at the beginning of 2015 when Roger set out hopefully on the road with a new ultrasound machine. After some nervous months and thanks to a lot of support from local practices we stayed in business and then grew!.

At the time of writing in June 2019, six of us have seen over 10,000 cases in 133 practices across the UK and provided over 100 CPD courses (including one in Sweden). We have regular clinics at Wildbore Vetstop, Worksop and Bishopton Veterinary Group in Ripon.

We want our client practices to benefit from using us.  After all, you provide the facilities and the nursing staff.  We have tried to keep our charges realistic: so you can add something to cover your costs and still leave the charge to the client less than most external referral centres.

But it’s more than just financial. We enjoy exchanging knowledge and skills with our partner practices. We want to encourage rather than suppress development of skills amongst this network.  Although some might see this as a threat to our existence, we believe that this collaboration pushes us forward too – we just have to try one step ahead!
